NOLA art walk
I went to the St. Claude art walk last night and enjoyed seeing some new artwork. Along with several other artists, Jeffrey Thurston has some beautiful ceramic sculptures at The Front Gallery. At the UNO St Claude Gallery, my co-worker Jessica Goldfinch has paintings and sculptures.
Above is one of Jeff's sculptures with screen-printed glaze patterns.

Figure sketching at NOAFA
I've been getting into the habit of figure drawing at the New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts. Drawing the figure is a lot like exercising- when you get out of the habit, it's back to square one!

"Unchecked Growth," my recent exhibition at Acadiana Center for the Arts
I recently had a spur-of-the-moment show at Acadiana Center for the Arts in Lafayette, LA. They have a wonderful lineup of shows at http://acadianacenterforthearts.org, including an upcoming show by my good friend Amie Rogers.
Jeff's new work
Here is a new ceramic work-in-progress by my partner in crime, Jeffrey Thurston. He's currently in the Master of Fine Arts program at Tulane University. You can see more of his work at jeffreythurston.com.
